Can't resize window

I just moved over to a new computer and installed 2.6.3 for Windows on
it.  Then I brought over my data file from the old computer.  For some
reason now the window is oversized horizontally (wider than the monitor)
and I can't resize it in that direction.  I can resize it vertically.
It looked fine on the old machine which was set for the same screen
resolution.

I've already done several Google searches and most of them suggest some
entry in the data file is excessively long preventing the screen from
resizing.  However, I made a quick scan of the file and nothing seems
out of the ordinary.  I currently only have ledgers, nothing else (like
reports, invoices, etc.)

I'm not sure what else to do to figure out the problem.  It's completely
unusable as is, the window is almost 50% bigger than the screen.
