GnuCash on Windows with MySQL backend

No. GC is single-user with locks to prevent corruption. I use the MySQL backend because I prefer SQL scripts to manually repeating the same command, however, I don't mess with the relationships amongst the tables because they are imbedded in the code. So, I make all entries the GUI, including lots of imports via OFX and CSV files. I've also converted CSV to QIF in the past. I have been using it on Windows and Linux without a problem since I dropped Microsoft Money (Microsoft terminated that product and I was frustrated with the lack of batch processing).

I used to have a password on my database, but dropped that a few months ago since I don't do any remote access and I consider my LAN secure enough for all of my financial transactions and electronic banking and stock trading needs. (I should re-instate a password on my database because my cat's been looking at some high-end kitty toys and he has physical access to my computers.)

Hi there. Is this a multi-user version of GC? I would love it if it is.

Thanks.

I probably didn't notice this at the beginning because I was having so much trouble with another issue which was an actual bug in GnuCash. Is there a setting which affects this behaviour? I looked on the preferences page and didn't see anything there.ThanksYitzchok
