However 2.6.1 does have several very unfortunate bugs; it's too bad it's
the version that happened to be included in the GnuCash LTS repository. You
can get a newer version via GetDeb.net, upgrade to a non-LTS
(long-term-support) version of Ubuntu, or compile it yourself... you have a
few options.

Fortunately the next LTS release 16.04 "Xenial," due this April, will
include GnuCash 2.6.11.
