Thanks, john

Like you indicate I was getting nothing from yahoo about TXN that was 
current. Today, it seems that all is well in Yahoo land.

Thanks for the tip on how to check on what GnuCash is getting for stock 
prices. I understand the delay you mention, that is why I always do my 
updates to my stock holdings after the market has been closed for 
several hours.

I think I can close this as solved.
