[GNC] Size of description column not shrinkable?

It's pretty easy to figure out which register is which... just make the
date column extra wide in the GUI and it will correspond with
"date_width=###" (or do it the other way around).

I also like to have the same column widths throughout for uniformity as
well as muscle memory on locations on the screen. Just go through and match
the widths in the file.

You only have to do this once you are all set.
