I think I have that, although there doesn't sem to be specifically a
"gnome-libs-dev*" package that I can find. I do have gnome-devel,
gnome-core-dev, libgnome2-dev and many many more.

also I assume configure is looking for "gnome-config.h" which I now
have installed in multiple locations... can't get it to find it... does
that make sense?

thanks
./configure returns a "configure: error: Could not find gnome-config"
this is frustrating as I've installed every package I can find that
seems to have gno* in the name.
locate gnome-config returns
/usr/include/libgnome-2.0/libgnome/gnome-config.h
I put a copy of that in /usr/include as that solved my ltdl.h problem
doesn't work. help. what am I missing?
