11:12:58 <karmel> 2.2.6 on windows; 2.2.4 on linux; there are no scheduled transaction; I am just a beginner, who should work on both Operating Systems; when I try to open the file in windows I get the message that gnucash-bin.exe cannot open it

11:53:58 <karmel> yes, I tryed this, but I got the same error message; it seems to me, that the different use of date causes the problem: in Windows %d-%m-%Y in Ubuntu %Y-%m-%d; but there is no effect, when I make changes in the preferences.
