10:55:59 <gncbot> chris: Sent 1 day, 19 hours, and 28 minutes ago: <CDB-Man> for the IFRS report, have you built in the reclassification of return of capital transactions into the truth table? specifically in bug 797796 attachment CDB Cost Basis Tool - USD with shorts without conversion with truth table v03.07.xlsx -- row 12 and 27 of the truth table tab in excel
10:56:00 <gncbot> chris: Sent 1 day, 18 hours, and 37 minutes ago: <CDB-Man> also rows 13, 14, 28, 29 yellow highlighted in the same excel, for notional distributions
10:58:34 <chris> CDB-Man: I dont think I made any changes. I don't recall any material change to the report... then again I'm not sure I analysed it thoroughly.
10:59:07 <chris> CDB-Man: I'm guessing there are discrepancies between ifrs report and v03.07...

13:45:26 <Robert847> After updating LinuxLite6.0 Pidgin locks up if my message is too long
13:47:24 <Robert847> Also GnuCash 4.8 cannot find a data file that is on a USB key even tho Thunar sees it.
13:48:03 <Robert847> GnuCash can find it if Thunar is already looking at the correct folder
13:50:45 <Robert847> This is in a VM on my Windows 10 machine. I will try Pidgin on a different machine

22:35:17 <AdrienM> Robert847, I'll hazard a guess that you stumbled on a permissions issue with how the OS is mounting the USB key. I've experienced that way back with Ubuntu 16.04 or so. My solution was to write a udev rule for automounting it. But that bug was allegedly fixed by Ubuntu (upstream of LinuxLite) at least by 20.04 if not earlier. Even if it isn't the same bug, that might provide a hint at a solution.
