ANNOUNCE: Stable branch force-pushed

The future branch somehow got pushed onto stable. I’m not entirely sure how, but I’ve done a hard reset to the last correct stable commit 7f4e8c29e0 and force-pushed to fix it. If you have trouble pulling from stable then fetch it instead and hard-reset from origin/stable:
   git fetch origin stable
   git reset --hard origin/stable
