I have installed Gnucash recently and it is working fine on my machine. =
I have been using similar packages for some time now ( like Tally made =
by Tally software, India) and a comparison became imminent.
So are the following features available in Gnucash ?
1. Can you separate one financial years' accounts from another years ? =
can i close my books of accounts ? or is is not necessary ?
2. The balance sheet gives a "net amount" ( or something similar ) . =
what does it mean ? to my mind a balance shows assets and liabilties and =
they should be equal. but such totals are not available in GNUCASH .
