??? Still not getting the stock situation.

I spent several days looking only at the engine/doc stuff and not
knowing about the other directory. I just found it last night. Maybe a
meta-doc (in README?) would be a good idea, with info on the tree and
where things are located. I'd write it myself except I don't know about
such things (yet).

Thank you for being so patient with me. This is not exactly intuitive,
and reading the code wasn't getting me anywhere for some reason. Maybe
I was just having a daft day or something.

Anyway, I will include a description of these values, what they
represent, and how they are used in my design doc. You know some
really good documentation can be written by novices. :-)

Or maybe it doesn't belong there?

brb.....

Okay, there's now a section titled "rational numbers and avoiding
rouding errors" in the "Algorithms" section near the end of the design
doc. See if it makes sense to you, or if I still am in error
somewhere.

I *still* don't think I understand how the rational numbers work when
working with stocks. An example or two would help. It seems that the
denominator value might change based on stock splits and such, for
example.

The currency situation is actually quite simple, if I understand it
correctly. But stocks have me confusticated.
