Corrupt Solaris 8 binaries?

I downloaded both of the Solaris 8 binary packages from
http://www.linas.org/pub/gnucash/gnucash/solaris-8
and cannot unzip them. "gunzip" complains:

> gunzip GNUcash.1.4.3.Solaris.8.Sparc.tar.gz 

gunzip: GNUcash.1.4.3.Solaris.8.Sparc.tar.gz: invalid compressed data--format violated

"tar" doesn't work on it either:

Anyone else have any success with these?
