Hello out there! :)
(sorry for my poor english in advance)

After two years of treeible quicken, quickbookx, excel, access, ... I now
switched all my finances (peronal and business) to gnucash and hope that
everything will sort of work out. So I guess you will keep haring from me :)
(As I don't have linux installed, I am runnig it on a linux server and run
"Exceed" under Windows 2000.)
What I saw from gbucash up to now, is very promising.

However, I have two problems:

1.) EURO-Stock and DM-Account:
I have a mutual fund ("Wertpapierdepot") in EURO, and an Account in DM.
(This is still standard in Germany). When I now want to buy shares, I cannot
book this to my DM-Account. Is there any solution?

2.) VAT:
It would be great if I could assign the property "VAT 16%" and "VAT 7%" to
an account, so that the VAT ist automatically calculated.
This should also work for "stock" account, as I use them for my stock of
products: When I buy 10 pieces of a special product, I buy "10 stocks",
untill I sell them to customers. When I buy and sell, VAT should now be
automatically calculated.

If would be great to hearing form you!
