Literal or envisioning doesn't matter, whether the LDAP server is part
of
GNUcash or seperate doesn't matter, or maybe it might.  Why, Solaris 8
includes
a 200,000 object license for iPlanet Directory Server so that's really
cool. :-)

Now, if your not familiar with LDAP, what do you do?  Pay SUN $2500 for
a three-five
day class so you can learn to admin LDAP so you can install your free
copy of 
GNUcash or buy a brand new machine, pay for windows, pay for quicken and
still 
be cheaper than running GNUcash???  Don't get it.  I understand LDAP and
can 
see the possibilities that Linas is driving at, but when you get to this
endpoint,
assuming you keep on this track, what happens to your userbase then?
