Hi,

there has been a patch in April to the gnucash-1.6 branch that introduced new
strings to be translated. CVS log says:

date: 2002/04/08 07:06:45; author: peticolas; state: Exp; lines: +12 -0
David Hampton's placeholder account patch.

This patch introduced four new messages to be translated, but nobody was
notified of this fact at all, and I didn't recognize that until just now.
This is BAD. If somebody submits a patch to the stable branch which changes
the translatable strings, you DEFINITELY NEED TO ANNOUNCE this loudly and
widely! Otherwise nobody notices that there is new work to be done by the
translators.

Chris, you scheduled a new stable release for tomorrow, right? I would kindly
ask to delay this for one more week, until August 10, so that at least some
of the translators are able to catch up with this issue.

Christian
