CVS compile problem

The real problem is that libtool and libltdl are buggy as s**t, and
their bugs can be aggravated by surprisingly stupid things. We ship a
hacked version of libtool -- or rather, ltmain.sh, which is the brains
of libtool -- in the Gnucash CVS tree, so it's probably not libtool
itself that is causing problems, but rather the installed version of
libltdl (the libtool dynamic-link library).
