I dont think we have a date set, yet, but Josh and I are trying to aim
for feature-freeze sometime this summer, hopefully with a release this
fall.  But obviously this is written on flash-paper, not stone ;)

Cool.  Maybe by the time we're heading to Gnucash 2.0 gnome/glib 2
will have been released and pulled into the major distributions.
