gtk2 for gnucash?

"what all will be changed"?  Changed between what and what?

Well, you can start with the GnuCash CVS head.  That also happens to
be the 1.8 development branch at the moment (we will branch 1.8 once
we actually release 1.8.0).  This means that anything not destined for
1.8 wont be incorporated in CVS until after we branch.

As for patches, you can use make-gnucash-patches (which depends on
"makepatch"), gzip the result (I don't recall if m-g-p does that
automatically) and mail it to gnucash-patches.  However, as I said,
don't expect the patch to be applied until after we branch for 1.8.

Fair enough..  I'm NOT trying to discourage you.  By all means, please
help with the gnome-2 port.  I'm just letting you know it will not be
a one-day job.
