New transactions do not match account currency (cvs 11122002)

Hi,

On a brand new build of gnucash I have a problem: When entering a new 
entry on e.g a EUR account the balance is not updated correctly 
(actually it just remains the same as the balance on the previous 
entry). Looking in the xml I noticed that all the new entries have have 
made which exhibits this symptom (which is all of them) has been labeled 
as USD entries (and thus not matching the account currency).

Changing the currency by hand and rerunning gnucash makes the problem 
disappear (until a new entry is made).
