Sorry, I was using it as an example.  Say my wife and I each track our
own accounts separately..  I just used "company" as an example of
sets-of-accounts that have no relation to each other.  You cannot have
transactions cross "company" bondaries in a single file.  Similarly, a
transaction could not "cross" between my accounts and my wife's
accounts (we would have to have a special "to husband/to wife"
accounts to do these transfers.

Agreed..  Hense my reason for trying to define terminology.
