Scheduled Transactions with Variables

I was also close to ask the question, but found then a few reference in
http://www.gnucash.org/docs/C/gnucash-help/usage.html#transactions
(search for variable).
I have not yet read it myself, but I could help. Let me know, if you think
that explains things well enough.
