pgendStoreAuditSplit library linked?

I do have /usr/local/pgsql/lib in /etc/ld.so.conf, and did
check ldconfig.  When I run `ldconfig -r | grep libgnc' I get
a listing for 
     -lgnc_postgres.7 => /usr/local/pgsql/lib/libgnc_postgres.so.7

but not libgnc_postgres.so.
