Loss of mailing-list subscriber database

Due to a screw-up in backing up the gnucash server, (painfully detailed 
on the home page), I've had to reset the mailing-list subscriber list
to what it was  on December 12th 2002.   If you've unsubscribed since then,
sorry.   If you know someone who has subscribed since then, please let them
know that they need to subscribe again.


Paricularly painful is that fact that *all* info about the gnucash-de 
mailing list was lost.  Christian, my sincerest apologies.   I even spent
an hour combing through lost+found to see if I could find it again, with no 
luck.

Scotch that.  I just rememebered that I know of one more place where 
I *might* have a functional backup copy.  It will take another 24-48
hours to see if I can retreive that, and restore gnucash-de & etc. 
if I am lucky.  If I am lucky, then I will post again to this list.


In the mainwhile, I ask for some more patience.  The mailing lists 
should work fine, so you can send and recieve on teh mailing lists. 
However, subscribing/unsubscribing might be dangerous for the next few days.
