I think this is a very nice contribution. It could save a lot of people some 
time looking for such a solution.. I would propose to include this in the 
gnucash package. I'm only not really sure about the right place -- either in 
a directory src/contrib/export-ofx, or lib/export-ofx, or 
contrib/export-ofx .
