GnuCash 1.7.8 crash while editing transaction

Very repeatable, Here is output from gnucash --debug while doing
this.  I repeated by process from last time but as the very first
thing I did after starting up GnuCash.

I'll try upgrading to the 1.8.0 release to see if it is still there....
