GnuCash and PostgreSQL

What version of autoconf recognizes this macro?  I'm running the
2.53-8 RPM from RH 8.0 and it tells me 

    configure.in:409: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_SCRUB_INCLUDE

and the macro ends up, unchanged, in the configure script.  Running
aclocal gives me another message

    aclocal: configure.in: 520: macro `AM_PATH_OPENHBCI' not found in library

In any event, as you pointed out elsewhere, there are other build
problems with postgres for this version, so I'll hold off building
with postgres until 1.7.8.  But if you have something you would like
me to test, I'm happy to do so.
