gnucash 1.7.8 and ofx still doesn't work

Just as a matter of interest, my suspicion that this is kernel threads
related deepens. Benoit is running

kernel 2.4.21-pre2.1mdk (Mandrake Cooker)

whereas both Rolf and I are running 2.4.18-19.7.x

I'll go and check the kernel changelogs and see whether I can see
anything mentioned.
