"mklibcat not found"

After compiling gnucash 1.8.4 on my Slackware 9 machine, starting the program would yield the error: 

"File not found: /usr/local/share/guile/slib/mklibcat" 

I took a look, and saw that there was a mklibcat.scm file in that directory, and made a symlink to it named mklibcat, and afterwards everything worked just fine.

Not sure if this is a bug or the result of something I myself did, but thought I would let you guys know in either case.
