no rule to make target on po

Helle everyone,

as of some time ago I keep getting this problem:


make[2]: Entering directory `/usr/local/src/gnucash/po'
make[2]: *** No rule to make target `all'.  Stop.
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/gnucash/po'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/local/src/gnucash'
make: *** [all] Error 2

this is CVS with:

./autogen.sh   --enable-hbci  --enable-maintainer-mode 
--prefix=/usr/local/src/gnucash

any ideas? 
cvs update -C
did not help
