HBCI syntax error

Hello everyone
the current HBCI produces an error when trying to download the current 
transactions. In that little window I get : Syntaxerror ; for those of german 
origin it reads:

Ausgeführt. (Code 20)
Syntaxfehler. (Code 9140, 6)

any idea? I have observed this already a week (or so) ago.
