Hi.
First, it's "GnuCash", not "GanuCash".
Second, yes, GnuCash can _keep track_ of your payroll, revenue, and
expense accounts. Indeed, it's very good at keeping track of all your
financial transactions. However it does not maintain time-sheet
records. It does not have the ability to compute your payroll. It
does not have the ability to compute tax withholdings. It does not
have the ability to create W-2 or equivalent end-of-year documents for
your employees.
If tracking the expenses is all you need, then GnuCash should be
perfectly sufficient. If you're looking for a system that can compute
payroll witholdings and print your employee checks, that's not yet in
there (and currently has no "champion developer" to make it happen).
