Import from excel?

The "Import from CSV" widget.  When you try to open a tab/csv file in 
Gnumeric, it pops up a dialog box asking you to select the format you 
want the columns imported as, what to use a separators, whether or 
not to include headers, etc.

So, in theory (that really neat place where everything "just works" :)
that code could be adapted for use with GnuCash, and, rather than 
import columns to columns, it imports from columns to fields within 
records.

I have no idea how difficult this would be, but I'm sure there's 
something usable from that code, even if just the interface.
