Paypal is fairly evil.  Would you consider using Affero instead?  With
Affero you can bind a footer to all email list traffic as well pointing
people to donate.  I think they may be more than 5%, but don't have
additional fees like paypal.  Plus, they offer source code and are a good
member of the community.
