Problem with moving accounts

I've added a bug (http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=313782)
regarding a problem I had with moving accounts with the latest
GnuCash.  The bug report includes a simple one line patch which seems
to fix things locally, but I'm not sure I'm solving it in the correct
manner.  I welcome any input anyone more familiar with the GnuCash
codebase may have on this issue.
