Here are two options.  The first is preferred; the second is slightly
more conservative.

Now autogen.sh seems to run aclocal, which will clobber changes to
aclocal.m4.  I don't know what needs to be done to prevent that, or if
it is not a real worry.  The gnucash build system baffles me. :)
