Format of some XML files

Hi,

I'm currently planning on implementing OFX direct connect support for 
AqBanking (which already is used by Gnucash in Germany).

I found some XML files with the namespace "http://www.gnucash.org/XML/bank".
For most of the parts these file are pretty self-explanatory. 
However, I'm curious about the element <bank:driver>. I guess "O" stands for 
OFX, but what does "C" or "W" (web?) mean ? 
Where can I find out more about these XML files ?
