The reports are in scheme.  You don't need to recompile gnucash to add new
reports.  You just need to write the new scheme code and get it loaded at
runtime.  The easiest way to do this is to install your report in the same
place as the standard reports and then modify gnucash's standard-reports.scm to
also load your new report.
