negative rate

Hi,

my requirement is that i need to use the gnu cash function to get
negative rates

does gnu cash handles that case?

 

e.g.

rate function from VB for following values gives rate value as :
-1.98245150....

 

but gnu cash gives: 0.14717057367057537

 

values: 

term: 36

pv = -38035

fv = 21252

pmt = 4894.9333

monthly payments

discrete payments = true

payment at beginning of term = true

 

any help??
