Error on builiding G2 GNUCash from CVS

while compiling gnucash i got this error

what could be the possible solution ....

and automake 1.6 gives the error

Running automake --gnu ...
configure.in:23 <http://configure.in:23>: `automake requires
`AM_CONFIG_HEADER', not `AC_CONFIG_HEADER'

Which version is appropriate .. i am using UBUNTU linux 5.04

please advice
