Just to rephrase Derek's answer again: No, the gnucash-gnome2-dev branch from
CVS should not be packaged into any distribution, not even Debian
experimental. We might get to the point where we release the very first
alpha-alpha-tarballs of gnucash-gnome2, and if this is the case then it will
be clearly and widely announced. By extrapolating the current progress this
might happen this fall or winter, but we are even not still not yet up to the
point where we can make a clear prediction about the actual progress
schedule.
In short: No, don't package it for Debian experimental. We will clearly
announce if gnucash-gnome2 reaches at least the experimental testing stage.
