Crash while importing gif

G nuCash 2.0.2 from r14936 on 2006-10-11  as Packaged for Fedora Core 
6.  When trying to import a
qif file.  GnuCash crashed with this message:

(quote cgshortx)) ...).

Changed the duplicate symbol to an arbitrary value and import 
proceeded.  I have no Idea what the correct label should be.  If anybody 
does, I appreciate a solution.
