So you have both 1.12.3 and 1.13.3 installed?  Or the 1.12.3 library and
the 1.13.3 library + devel package?

What's the output of...

    $ grep "^GSF_" config.log

...in the top-level of your source tree?

In the compilation output, just before the errors you posted before.  In
fact, you posted *part* of it originally....
