OFX import is removing spaces from the description and memo fields

I cannot import OFX files properly after compiling and installing 
gnucash 2 on my FC5 system.  All spaces are removed from the memo and 
description(NAME).  In addition to being hard to read it also causes 
transaction matching  to fail, forcing me to set the destination 
accounts by hand.

Is this just me?  If no one knows what the problem is off the top of 
their head I'll go ahead and log a bug.
