For those who have a Windows/mingw32 platform around: With the attached
patch against current SVN, I have been able to compile almost all C
files that I tried, with only some minor issues in the filesystem
handling in src/backend/file left. It seems that the basic functionality
is almost ready to be used under Windows.
If someone is adventurous enough to try this as well: Notes are
collected on http://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Windows; the attached patch,
as mentioned, is still necessary because I can't get g-wrap code
generation to work on windows while using the SMB file system. Please
speak up if you are interested in trying this, as I would need some more
feedback from other windows developers...
