failed to rpmbuild the docs tarball

I get the following error when I try to build an RPM from the latest
docs tarball:

[root at localhost md]# rpmbuild -tb gnucash-docs-2.0.1.tar.gz
error: Legacy syntax is unsupported: copyright
error: line 8: Unknown tag: Copyright:  GNU Free Documentation License

Is there anything I can do to fix that, short of un-taring, removing
the copyright line and tar'ing it all back up?
