New SX editor sometimes crashes gnucash

Running r15403 on Mac OSX 10.4.8.

I have about a dozen scheduled transactions. I can open most of them  
in the sx editor, but my mortgage payment, my car payment, and one of  
the paycheck transactions cause gnucash to abort. On the terminal  
window, I get:

(gnucash:22555): GLib-CRITICAL **: g_date_strftime: assertion  
`g_date_valid (d)' failed
monthly date [Mon Jan 15 00:00:00 2007]
gdc_model_update_cb update for tag [1]

GLib-ERROR **: gmem.c:154: failed to allocate 4294967292 bytes
