I actually don't think this properly describes what I'm seeing. I
have seen 341076 behavior before, but that would go out if I close
and reopen register.
I have attached some screenshots so we can try to figure out if this
is the same problem.
First - in transaction importer, I deselect the transactions:

Now, if the register for this particular account is not on the top
(opened), everything apparently goes without problems. However, if it
is active, you get bogus transactions:

This is the screen after I tried ignoring transactions twice - once
with register not being active, and once when it was active. These
won't go away by themselves. I can delete them. If I try to click at
the 'x' symbols, GC offers to balance the transaction for me. Note
the blank last row - I think this is what 341076 describes.
When I save, quit and reload, these go away.
Let me know if you want me to file a bug on this or if you need more
information.
