Feature proposal: Windows - assigning GnuCash to file name extension?

gnucash would have to make sure it saves files with that extension.

You can get what you want for your individual installation by sticking
to your chosen extension.  Then you shift-right-click on one of the
files and choose "open with".  There you can set a flag that henceforth
you always want files of this type opened by the chosen application.
