None, if you don't enter transactions posting times. Entering transaction
times would cause those few reports that show individual transactions or
splits to sort them according to your preference, as described in (6).
(Unless, of course, the report has been intentionally designed to sort by
something other when the transaction was posted.)

At some point, those who enter times would naturally want to see them
displayed on reports, but that would require the existing reports to be
modified. So someone would need to donate time to that.
