r17677 hangs on launch

r17677 hangs on launch for me with the splash screen progress bar saying
gnucash/report/standard-reports

It stays there for at least several minutes with no activity.

Could someone check r17675 for potential scheme problems?

Mac OS X 10.5.5, guile 1.8.3 , slib 3b-1 (with one more recent patch  
from slib svn for slib-guile)
